Midlife.Mulligans was created for the golfers who found golf and fell in love with it later in life.

Maybe you picked up your first club in your mid to late 20s. Maybe COVID gave you the time and space to finally learn the game. Maybe it started as a hobby… and now it’s a full-blown obsession.

This is a community for those of us who found something deeper in golf—a challenge, an escape, a second chance. For many of us, it’s become more than a game. It’s therapy. It’s purpose. It’s our saving grace.

We’re not chasing perfection—we’re chasing progress, good vibes, and that one pure shot that keeps us coming back.

My Golf Story – For the Love of the Game

I wasn’t born with a golf club in my hand. I grew up the son of a blue-collar worker, and every now and then we’d hit the driving range with a bucket of balls and some rented sticks. It was fun—but nothing serious.

In 2006, I bought my first set of Goliath clubs. Used ’em maybe once a year. Golf was something I liked, but it didn’t really grab me… until COVID hit.

During lockdown, golf became my escape. The fresh air, the walk, the challenge—it all just clicked. I went from a once-a-year hack to a guy playing 14 rounds in 2021. And I was hooked.

I didn’t know the rules. I still don’t know all the swing lingo. But I’m learning. Talking to better players. Soaking it in.

My handicap started at 25.5. By September 2023, I brought it down to 18.8. And in 2024? I cracked 30 rounds and ended the season at 16.6. In 2025 I stopped taking gimmies and mulligans, and my handicap went back up to a 18.

Now, if I could just figure out how to putt like a normal human… we’d really be in business.
