Maybe you picked up your first club in your 30s. Maybe COVID gave you the time and space to finally learn the game. Maybe it started as a hobby… and now it’s a full-blown obsession.

This is a community for those of us who found something deeper in golf—a challenge, an escape, a second chance. For many of us, it’s become more than a game. It’s therapy. It’s purpose. It’s our saving grace.

We’re not chasing perfection—we’re chasing progress, good vibes, and that one pure shot that keeps us coming back.

My Golf Story – For the Love of the Game

I wasn’t born with a golf club in my hand. I grew up the son of a blue-collar worker, and every now and then we’d hit the driving range with a bucket of balls and some rented sticks. It was fun—but nothing serious.

In 2006, I bought my first set of Goliath clubs. Used ’em maybe once a year. Golf was something I liked, but it didn’t really grab me… until COVID hit.

During lockdown, golf became my escape. The fresh air, the walk, the challenge—it all just clicked. I went from a once-a-year hack to a guy playing 14 rounds in 2021. And I was hooked.

I didn’t know the rules. I still don’t know all the swing lingo. But I’m learning. Talking to better players. Soaking it in.

My handicap started at 25.5. By September 2023, I brought it down to 18.8. And in 2024? I cracked 30 rounds and ended the season at 16.6. Progress.

Now, if I could just figure out how to putt like a normal human… we’d really be in business.
